Responsibilities & Context:
Core Responsibilities & Duties
Site Supervision & Coordination: Directly overseeing construction workers and subcontractors to ensure productive work execution.
Safety Enforcement: Ensuring strict adherence to safety standards, including proper use of PPE, and conducting risk assessments.
Plan Interpretation: Reading and interpreting project drawings, blueprints, and structural specifications to guide the crew.
Resource Management: Allocating daily tasks to workers and ensuring they have necessary tools, materials, and equipment, while minimizing wastage.
Quality Control: Inspecting work in progress to ensure it meets quality standards, building codes, and technical specifications.
Reporting & Communication: Reporting daily progress, site issues, and worker performance to project managers or engineers.
Conflict Resolution: Resolving on-site technical problems or staff disputes promptly.
