Responsibilities & Context:
Conduct comprehensive soil investigations, including field inspections and laboratory testing, to assess soil properties and behavior.
Interpret soil data and analysis results to determine appropriate foundation design, earthwork specifications, and site preparation recommendations.
Develop foundation plans, slope stability analyses, and erosion control measures based on soil conditions and project requirements.
Collaborate with geotechnical engineers, structural engineers, and project managers to integrate soil considerations into overall project designs.
Provide technical guidance and support to onsite construction teams regarding soil-related issues, earthwork operations, and foundation construction.
Evaluate the Environmental impacts of soil disturbances and propose mitigation strategies to minimize adverse effects on surrounding ecosystems.
Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in soil engineering and geotechnical design.
Prepare and present technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to clients, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
