Job Context:
∎ Care Nutrition Ltd. is the Bangladesh subsidiary of Frontier Nutrition, Inc., a U.S. company based in New Haven, Connecticut. We are looking for Chief Operating Officer (COO) to oversee our organization`s ongoing operations and lead growth through the launch of new products and expansion into new geographies
∎ The COO role is a key member of the senior management team, reporting directly to the Managing Director (MD) and managing teams across sales, marketing, production, and strategy. You`ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader with excellent people skills, business acumen and an exemplary work ethic. The mission of the COO is to provide leadership and expertise, improve effectiveness and efficiency, aggressively pursuing growth.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Company.
∎ Assist the MD in collaboration with all Heads of Functions to develop and oversee the long term business strategies of the Company.
∎ Develop, in collaboration with the MD and all Heads of Functions, annual, quarterly, and monthly operating plans that support immediate and long term growth. Set and execute against comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
∎ Introduce, monitor, and enforces processes and practices to improve efficiency in all areas of operations.
∎ Communicate regularly and effectively and manage relationships with all stakeholders, including management, employees, vendors, partners, and customers
∎ Lead the development of and ensure compliance with health and safety practices for the Company.
∎ Foster a corporate culture that promotes ethical practices and customer focus, and encourage individual integrity through leadership by example.
∎ Develop and maintain a positive and growth-oriented mindset work culture that is conducive to attracting, retaining and motivating high performing employees at all levels.
∎ Develop and implement sustainability strategies of the Company.
∎ Assess and manage the principal risks to the Company's business and develop readiness plans for risk mitigation.
∎ Evaluate the performance of senior executives of the Corporation reporting to the COO.
∎ Perform other functions related to the office of the COO or as may be requested by the MD.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Team management experience required
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Launching and running CPG Food Brands in South Asia, Finance, Sales & Marketing, Compliance, Production/ Operation Management, Data Analysis, Training & Development, Customer Service
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):, Manufacturing (FMCG), Multinational Companies, Food & Beverage Manufacturing companies
∎ International experience preferred
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ Proactive, self-motivated, accountable, and transparent
∎ Can-Do attitude with the fighting spirit to take on established competitors
∎ Proven experience as Chief Operating Office or other top team roles
∎ Multinational company background with proven success record in previous roles will be an advantage
∎ Understanding of business functions such as Marketing, Manufacturing, Finance, HR etc.
∎ Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
∎ Strong skills in designing and maintaining data collection systems
∎ Strong skills in data analysis and performance/operation metrics
∎ Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
∎ Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
∎ Strong analytical skills that drive decision-making and problem-solving
