Educational Requirements:
∎ Graduation/Diploma in Textile Engineering/ Clothing Technology or equivalent
∎ MBA degree will be added as an advantage for the candidate on final selection;
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: GSD Licensed practitioners will get preference
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 15 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must be capable of leading Industrial Engineering function of the factories to achieve higher productivity, reduce cost and improve efficiency;
∎ Ensure floor and machine layout setup as per international standard & ensure optimum output;
∎ Should be responsible for developing & updating the learning curve for planning & production targeted by considering learning curve and facilities and its achievement;
∎ Capable of Identifying wastages & recommend the tools of waste minimization;
∎ Develop & ensure execution of production and related processes SOP for individual work/ Project;
∎ Must be able to generate various reports with analysis and action plan and ensure formal reporting to the Management team on daily, weekly and monthly basis;
∎ Collect and confirm order list, new style input plan, order details etc. from the factories;
∎ Must be capable of evaluation of style, critical path finding, process analysis & simplification from sampling to all levels of production (with special concentration on Cutting, Sewing, Finishing);
∎ Ensure operation simplification like, capacity study, time study, work study, motion study, method study, critical path analysis, SMV Calculation, Productivity calculation, efficiency level identification and so on.
∎ Must be able to facilitate proper training to the concern employer/employee group of the factories on new system and Method for Line balancing, Bottleneck identification; also ensure proper corrective action on time.
∎ Apply, Train & implement lean tools & other tools (5s, KANBAN, KAIZAN, Six Sigma, etc).
∎ Moreover, candidate will ensure supervision, discipline and development of good organizational culture including welfare aspects of the work force of the factory.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 55 years
∎ Ability to work under pressure;
∎ Sound Knowledge in Computer operation;
∎ Individual Capability to Control the Production.
∎ Good communication skill and well behavior
