• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized and reputed university, with current membership in the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB).

• Age At most 50 years

• Minimum of 18 (eighteen) years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2 (two) years in a Senior Executive Engineer or equivalent leadership position.

• Preference will be given to candidates with proven experience in planning and implementing large-scale construction, renovation, and infrastructure projects, particularly within public or private university environments or similar institutions.

• In-depth knowledge of university governance structures, academic rules, procurement processes, and administrative procedures, along with familiarity with national regulatory authorities and service providers such as RAJUK, DESCO, DWASA, City Corporation, and related compliance requirements.

• Demonstrated ability to monitor, supervise, inspect, and ensure quality control of construction and renovation works in accordance with approved standards, codes, and safety guidelines.

• Proven leadership and supervisory experience with the capacity to manage, guide, and mentor engineering and technical teams effectively.

• Excellent drafting and documentation skills, including preparation of official correspondence, project reports, bid documents, technical notes, and meeting minutes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills, with exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality, timelines, and compliance.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
