• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Civil Engineering

• At least 15 years

• Previous work experience with Port Authority will be preferred
• Need to frequent visit at Dhaka Komlapur ICD project and CTG port project
• Have a positive mind set about travelling

• Overseeing the planning, design, and implementation of engineering projects within the organization
• Leading and managing the engineering team, providing technical guidance and training
• Developing and implementing engineering strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Assessing and evaluating technical operations and systems, proposing recommendations and solutions for improvement
• Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations and standards
• Coordinate all communications and meetings with port authorities
• Managing and maintaining facilities, equipment, and infrastructure, including scheduling repairs and routine maintenance
• Working closely with other department leaders to coordinate project goals and objectives
• Keeping up-to-date with the latest engineering trends, techniques, and methods, implementing them into operations where necessary
• Preparing and managing budgets and resources for engineering projects
• Conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to engineering team members
• Negotiate with external vendors on contract agreements
• Obtain the appropriate permits and licenses from authorities for construction sites
• Plan construction operations
• Ensure all deadlines are met
• Hire contractors and staff including construction laborers
• Delegate responsibilities
• Allocate and manage resources to ensure that they are available when they are needed throughout the construction projects
• Keep all stakeholders aware of the progress on projects and prepare progress reports regularly
• Handle any environmental or local community issues that may come up during a project
• Conduct site checks to monitor progress and quality standards
