Post-Graduation/Master’s degree preferably in Business Administration from reputed public or UGC-approved private university.
Professional degrees such as MBM or equivalent will be considered an added advantage.
No 3rd Division/Class or equivalent CGPA/GPA in any academic record is acceptable.
Age Limit: Maximum 55 years as on December 31, 2025
Excellent leadership, team-building, and people-management capabilities.
Strong analytical ability with the capacity to handle complex credit and risk matters independently and decisively.
In-depth understanding of credit risk assessment, lending practices, due diligence, portfolio management, and regulatory requirements.
Minimum 20 years of experience in the banking sector, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role such as Head of Credit/Credit Division in any Bank or Financial Institution.
Proven track record in managing large corporate and commercial portfolios, maintaining asset quality, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Strong working knowledge of the Bank Company Act, Islamic Banking Guidelines, Bangladesh Bank rules & regulations, and other relevant financial laws.
Extensive practical experience in loan recovery, legal processes, documentation, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities
Credit Strategy & Oversight: Oversee the Bank’s entire credit operations, policy framework, and strategic direction to ensure sound lending practices and sustained portfolio quality.
Credit Risk Management: Establish, maintain, and strengthen robust credit risk management frameworks, ensuring alignment with regulatory guidelines and internal risk appetite.
Leadership of Credit Division: Mentor, guide, and lead all units under the Credit Department/Division, fostering strong discipline, accountability, and performance culture.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure full compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations, credit-related circulars, statutory requirements, and all applicable laws governing lending and credit operations.
Portfolio Governance: Manage the Bank’s credit portfolio, including loan evaluation, approval oversight, performance monitoring, delinquency control, and recovery strategies.
Growth & Business Alignment: Develop and implement credit growth strategies that align with the Bank’s mission, business goals, and long-term sustainability.
Financial Impact Management: Contribute to the Bank’s overall financial health by ensuring prudent income-expense management related to credit operations, capital adequacy, and loan-loss provisioning.
Operational Excellence: Advise on enhancing process efficiency, improving workflow, establishing accountability structures, and strengthening overall credit governance.
Executive Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate and timely reports to the Managing Director & CEO, highlighting portfolio status, risk indicators, regulatory compliance, and strategic recommendations.
