Experience:

• Skills Required: communication and interpersonal skill.
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in relevant filed

Additional Requirements:

• Age not more than 50 years
• Good command both in English & Bangla;
• Skills in writing reports and assessment in standard English;
• Good knowledge and handling of project and program management methodology and techniques;
• Experience in the use of office equipment, computer and analytical software packages along with MS word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.
• Knowledge of Project Management, coordination, leadership, community engagement, and rights-based approach;
• Capacity to manage project team
• Diverse knowledge about Non-formal Education Project management;
• Experience on Participatory Monitoring and Evaluation process.
• Excellent facilitation, coordination, team management, reporting and presentation skills;
• Good Knowledge about Safeguarding policies specially on child protection, Gender and PSEA Policy.
• Ability to work and lead a multi-cultural team and meeting deadlines;

Centre Manager(01) Duty Station- Mohammadpur,Dhaka

Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a National NGO with Consultative Status with UN ECOSOC and UNESCO. It works for social and spiritual development of the human community. Founded with the motto of “Divine and Humanitarian Services”, over last 65 years DAM has been serving the human community for improved living conditions enhancing people’s capacities to maximally utilize their inner potentials. DAM’s current diversified works encompass multi-dimensional field programs and self-governing institutions in education, health and economies development sectors in Bangladesh.

‘Drop In Centre for Street & Working Children & Emergency Night Shelter for Girls’Dhaka City has an influx of immigrants from rural areas who live in slums; Slum dwellers are illiterate which severely limits opportunity for viable employment. Their children engage in high risk and unregulated occupations where, driven by ignorance of rights and a sense of powerlessness, Become victims of exploitation and violence. Families become disintegrated, the children left uncared for and many of these children have to find streets as their place to live, work and survive. They are excluded from any educational opportunities. Their jobs are often hazardous; these children often become victims of sexual exploitation, human trafficking and drug abuse. Overcoming this challenges Dhaka Ahsania Mission implement this project at Mohammadpur and Jatrabari in Dhaka city.

Job Responsibilities

• S/he will ensure the effective implementation of the project in line with the approved project proposal and budget;
• S/he will manage and supervise project team at field level those are working under the assigned projects;
• S/he will maintain linkage with Govt. and Non-Govt. service providers.
• S/he will have to conduct study/survey as per need of the project and prepare report for the donor and organization;
• S/he will facilitate the capacity building activities including training, workshops etc. of the project stakeholders including staff;
• S/he will Prepare monthly fund requisition, progress report, case story, account report and other necessary documents as required by the project and authority;
• S/he will organize day to day field activities according to the project action/operation plan;
• S/he will rapport building with the communities and strongly mobilize the project participants and stakeholders;
• S/he will perform any other responsibilities as guided by the supervisor (project Coordinator );
• Track project expenditure against respective deliverables and manage budget.
• Employment Status: Contractual up to December 2024 may be extended depending on funding and incumbent performance.
• Job Location: Mohammadpur/ Jatrabari, Dhaka.
• Frequent field visit will be required.

Salary: BDT 42,000 with other benefits as per project provision and organizational policy.
