Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is a non-government development organization founded in 1958 by Khan Bahadur Ahsanullah, an eminent educationist, reformer, and Sufi with the aim of social and spiritual development of entire human community. DAM has been contributing for the betterment of the disadvantaged population through operating 35 institutions and also 8 sectors of development. Health Sector is one of the core sectors of DAM which has also been operating 7 institutions and 15 donor funded projects.
∎ DAM Health Sector is going to recruit a competent and self-motivated individual for the position of Center Manager for "Ahsania Mission Female Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Center" at Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The primary role of a manager is to ensure the daily functioning as well as monitor daily center activities and provide feedback for improvement of the drug treatment center;
∎ Manage the overall operational, budgetary, and financial responsibilities and activities of the drug treatment center;
∎ Strong technical ability to manage day-to-day crises;
∎ Strong technical and management ability to deal with special vulnerable populations;
∎ Maintain collaborative communication with all technical persons of drug treatment centers such as Psychiatrist, Physician, and Counselors to ensure better services for clients;
∎ Supervise, assist, and provide direction to the staff/non-technical staff in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures;
∎ Planning marketing and campaigns to enhance the services;
∎ Prepare program performance reports for senior management and explain variances by a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis;
∎ To maintain functional networking and liaison with the local stakeholders;
∎ Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 45 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 2 years experience in the NGO sector (Experience in Drug Treatment/HIV Prevention or other health-related field/Universal Treatment (UTC) Curriculum) is preferable.
∎ Basic computer literacy.
∎ Excellent organizational and multi-tasking ability, strong communication, report writing, presentation, and negotiation skills;
∎ Proficient in English (oral and written).
