Job Responsibilities:
∎ In response to the Rohingya crisis, Save the Children (SCI) has drastically scaled up child protection programming, that encompasses the provision of case management services to the most vulnerable children including UASC.
∎ Under the supervision of the Case Management Specialist, the role will seek to improve the quality of Save the Children's Child Protection case management programme in line with the Minimum Standard of Child Protection in Humanitarian Action (MSCP) Standard 18 and Case Management IA Guidelines. S/he will focus on strengthening Save the Children's technical capacity and quality internally to provide adequate support to the most vulnerable children including UASC. Additionally, s/he will represent Save the Children in the Interagency Case Management Technical Working Group (CMTWG).
∎ The role will include regular monitoring of existing and emerging Child Protection concerns and advocating for appropriate services and referral pathways, in line with the IA SOPs. In addition to that, s/he will assess and strengthen the suitability of program tools and guidelines, identify staff training needs, develop training plans focusing on on-the-job training, mentoring and coaching, and strengthening supervision through leading internal case review meetings. The Case Management Coordinator will work closely particularly with Child Protection Manager, Case Management Project Officers and Case Workers.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5 years' experience, preferably in Child Protection experience in emergency contexts. Previous experience and strong skills case management for most vulnerable children.
∎ Demonstrated experience of team management, including recruitment and on-the-job. Experience in psychosocial support programs for children, MHPSS background a plus
∎ Experience of and commitment to working through systems of community participation and accountability.
∎ Experiences on SGBV issues will be an asset for this role
∎ Sound understanding on monitoring and evaluating child protection programs in emergency, transition and development contexts
∎ Experience in capacity building and in strengthening various duty bearers understanding of and response to child protection.
∎ Experience of representation and ability to represent SC effectively in external forums.
∎ Ability to identify the main gaps in child protection services in the given context to inform a holistic response for children.
∎ Excellent communication skills both in English and Bangla with high level of written skills
∎ Strong influencing skills and experience in advocacy
