∎ Bachelor's degree in a related field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with the merchandising team to interpret concept sketches and translate them into detailed technical drawings using CAD software.
∎ Create precise patterns for garments ensuring accurate measurements and fit.
∎ Generate and produce prototypes and samples based on approved designs, making necessary adjustments and modifications as required.
∎ Develop grading rules to create size variations for different garments, ensuring consistent fit across various sizes. Prepare size specifications and technical packages for production.
∎ Collaborate with the production team and provide technical support regarding pattern corrections, fit adjustments, and other garment construction queries during the manufacturing process.
∎ Review and analyze garment samples to ensure compliance with design specifications, construction techniques, and industry standards. Identify and resolve any issues related to fit, fabric, or construction.
∎ Communication and Collaboration: Work closely with designers, merchandisers, and production teams to exchange information, provide design suggestions, and ensure smooth workflow throughout the product development cycle.
∎ Maintain accurate records of all design files, patterns, and technical specifications. Organize and archive digital files for easy retrieval.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 45 years
∎ Proven experience as a CAD Master or similar role in the garments industry.
∎ Experience with woven tops, bottoms and jackets is essential.
∎ Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Adobe Illustrator, Gerber Technology, Lectra Modaris) and pattern-making tools.
∎ Solid understanding of garment construction techniques, including grading, sizing, and fitting.
∎ Excellent knowledge of fabrics, textiles, and trims commonly used in woven garments.
∎ Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
∎ Good communication and leadership skills, and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
∎ Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
∎ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
∎ Familiarity with garment manufacturing processes and quality control standards.
