Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor's degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from an accredited academic institution with three years of relevant professional experience; or
∎ School diploma plus five years relevant experience / Certificate in the above field with five years of relevant professional experience.

Job Context:
∎ Job Location: Willing to work anywhere in Cox`s Bazar
∎ Organization: IOM (International Organization for Migration)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical assistance to IOM infrastructure construction projects, from the initial planning, design to the implementation and monitoring.
∎ Participate in the technical survey and verify in-depth understanding on the characteristic of the project sites.
∎ Produce sketch designs, architectural and technical drawing (AutoCAD), and presentation drawings (Adobe CC).
∎ Assist Construction Engineer for the estimation and preparation of the Bill of Quantity (BoQ).
∎ Prepare the lay-outs and demarcate the lay-outs in the sites.
∎ Assist Construction Engineer in the review of the technical drawings and estimations of proposed infrastructure facilities.
∎ Provide necessary information and documentation for the preparation of project approvals, bidding documents, project proposals and/or project overview.
∎ Conduct site visits for monitoring of infrastructure construction activities as necessary.
∎ Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience with International Organizations and/or NGOs an advantage
∎ Experience in camp rehabilitation and site development is an advantage
∎ Experience working within the region an advantage
∎ Experience in construction design is required
∎ Experience in structural design is an advantage
∎ Experience in computer aided drawing - CAD - is required
∎ Experience in computer aided structural design is an advantage
∎ Experience in the estimation and Bill of Quantity preparation is required

Salary:
