Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify new business opportunities, funding sources, and strategic partnerships for community-based organizations.
∎ Conduct market research to analyze business trends and strengthen business linkages.
∎ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and Community-based organizations.
∎ Develop and implement marketing and sales strategies to drive business growth.
∎ Assess the progress of business development initiatives and adjust strategies accordingly.
∎ Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
∎ Support the development and execution of marketing strategies and promotional campaigns.
∎ Monitor and track business performance, providing regular reports to management.
∎ Project Name: Promoting Climate Resilient Community in Bangladesh (PCRCB): Phase II Project.
∎ Project Summary: PCRCB-Phase-2 Project is being implemented to enhance their resilience by focusing on (i) Reducing climate risk at community level through awareness raising, agricultural/water/structural adaptation efforts, skill development and less vulnerable AIGA support (ii) Capacity development of the local community organization for their sustainability and (iii) scaling up the resilience building approach
∎ Role of the Position: The Business Development Officer role is critical for supporting CCRC's growth strategy and expanding business opportunities. This position will play a key role in fundraising, stakeholder engagement, market linkage, and the successful implementation of business initiatives.
