  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English and Bengali.


Responsibilities & Context:

Job Summary:

DACHSER Bangladesh is hiring a dynamic Business Development Manager to drive sales growth and expand its market presence. The ideal candidate will possess deep logistics industry knowledge, a strong network in Bangladesh, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.


Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Revenue Generation:

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to grow DACHSER’s customer base in Bangladesh.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients to drive sales growth.

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

  • Generate leads and convert prospects into clients through proactive sales efforts.
  • Manage key client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly. 

Market Research & Analysis:

  • Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends in Bangladesh.
  • Analyze competitor activities and market intelligence to inform sales strategies.

Sales Presentations & Negotiations:

  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals in line with company policies and procedures.

Collaboration & Coordination:

  • Work closely with internal teams such as Products, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the regional sales team to align local strategies with regional objectives.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, pipeline status, and revenue forecasts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system.
