Additional Requirements:

  • BOQ preparation and quantity take-off.

  • Cost estimation and budgeting.

  • Tender documentation and bid management.

  • Knowledge of procurement procedures.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

  • Ability to read engineering and construction drawings.

  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

  • Time management and attention to detail.



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Prepare detailed BOQs based on drawings, specifications, and client requirements.

  • Perform quantity take-offs from architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.

  • Estimate material, labor, and equipment costs.

  • Coordinate with the engineering and procurement teams for pricing and technical inputs.

  • Review tender documents and identify the scope of work.

  • Ensure BOQs are accurate and compliant with project requirements.

  • Study tender notices, RFPs (Request for Proposals), and bidding documents.

  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals.

  • Submit tenders through online procurement portals or hard-copy submissions within the deadline.

  • Maintain a tender submission tracker and document repository.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to obtain approvals and supporting documents.

  • Identify new project and tender opportunities.

  • Monitor government and private procurement portals.

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, consultants, and contractors.

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis.

  • Participate in pre-bid meetings and client discussions.

  • Negotiate commercial terms when required.

  • Support contract award and handover processes.
