Responsibilities & Context:

Key Responsibilities

1.       Branch Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day branch operations including account opening, cash operations, clearing, remittance, and transaction processing.

2.       Service Delivery & Customer Experience: Ensure timely and accurate service delivery, minimizing turnaround time (TAT) and maintaining high customer satisfaction.

3.       Operational Control & Risk Management: Implement and monitor internal controls to mitigate operational risks, errors, and fraud.

4.       Compliance & Regulatory Adherence: Ensure strict compliance with Bangladesh Bank guidelines, AML/KYC requirements, and internal policies.

5.       Cash & Vault Management: Supervise cash handling, vault operations, ATM cash management, and ensure adherence to cash limits and security protocols.

6.       Audit & Inspection Readiness: Coordinate internal and external audits, ensure timely closure of audit observations, and maintain proper documentation.

7.       Process Improvement & Efficiency: Identify process gaps and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce processing time.

8.       Coordination & Support: Work closely with Business, Credit, and Operations teams to ensure smooth execution of transactions and customer requests.

9.       MIS & Reporting: Prepare and submit operational reports related to transactions, compliance, and branch performance.

10.   Team Supervision & Development: Lead operations staff, assign responsibilities, and ensure adequate training and performance management.
