Skills Required: Additional Requirements: Minimum 2 to 10 years of experience (based on branch size, business volume, geographic importance, and grade) as a Branch Manager in any reputed Bank, with a proven track record.
Must have comprehensive exposure to Branch Management, General Banking Operations, Business Development, Deposit Mobilization, Credit & Lending Operations, Stressed Loan Management, and Foreign Trade/Trade Finance activities.
Demonstrated capability in driving branch profitability, maintaining portfolio quality, ensuring operational excellence, and leading high-performing teams.
Preference will be given to candidates who started their careers as MTOs/Probationary Officers.
Strong leadership and decision-making capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Deep knowledge of regulatory requirements, risk management practices, and operational controls.
Ability to inspire teams and drive consistent business performance.

Key Responsibilities
- Branch Leadership & Strategic Direction: Lead and oversee the full spectrum of branch operations, ensuring seamless daily functioning aligned with the strategic priorities set by the Management of the Bank.
- Business Growth & Portfolio Management: Manage the entire branch business portfolio, drive sustainable growth, and consistently achieve business, deposit, and profitability targets.
- Stakeholder Coordination: Maintain strong liaison with internal and external stakeholders to ensure synchronized service delivery, operational harmony, and business continuity.
- Business Planning & Execution: Develop, implement, and monitor strategic business plans that enhance the branch’s contribution to the Bank’s overall growth and competitive positioning.
- Regulatory Compliance & Control: Ensure strict adherence to Bangladesh Bank regulations, internal policies, operational guidelines, and AML/CFT standards through strong internal controls, documentation accuracy, and risk-resilient practices.
- Customer Experience Excellence: Deliver a superior customer experience by nurturing long-lasting relationships, resolving customer queries promptly, and championing a culture of service excellence within the local community.
- Team Leadership & Talent Development: Lead, mentor, motivate and develop branch employees, fostering a high-performance culture, strengthening individual competencies, and supporting their professional and career growth aspirations.
- Credit & Risk Management: Oversee credit proposals, portfolio quality, documentation standards, recovery performance, and risk mitigation to ensure a healthy asset portfolio aligned with the Bank’s credit risk appetite.
- Operational Discipline & Governance: Ensure error-free daily operations, compliance with SOPs, process discipline, strong internal governance, and timely reporting to concerned divisions and regulators.
- Community Engagement & Brand Representation: Act as the Bank’s ambassador in the local market by strengthening community ties, enhancing the branch’s visibility, and promoting NRBC Bank’s brand values.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Head Office Divisions to support product implementation, digital banking initiatives, policy reforms, and branch-level innovation initiatives.
- Performance Monitoring & MIS Reporting: Analyze branch performance through MIS reports, dashboards, trend monitoring, and take corrective actions to optimize productivity, resource utilization, and service delivery.
