∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ Minimum 5-6 years background in retail industry with 3 years of experience in retail pharmacy Sales with strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, regulatory requirements, and inventory management.
∎ Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Business Administration, or a related field. Those with a pharmacy background will get preference.
∎ Strong customer service orientation, excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
∎ Proficiency in store management software and MS Office Suite.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee daily store operations, including inventory management, sales, and customer service.Ensure the pharmacy meets sales targets, profitability goals, and operational KPIs.Develop and implement strategies to drive foot traffic, increase revenue, and enhance the customer experience.Monitor and control expenses, pilferage, and damage.Ensure full compliance with local pharmacy laws, regulations, and licensing requirements.Maintain accurate records, including prescriptions, invoices, and stock levels.Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and industry best practices.Monitor stock levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely replenishment.Minimize expired and slow-moving stock through effective stock rotation and demand forecasting.Conduct regular stock audits to prevent pilferage and discrepancies.Maintain high standards of customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience. Address and resolve customer complaints efficiently.Build relationships with local healthcare providers, doctors, and clinics to drive business growth.Recruit, train, and manage pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and sales personnel.Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement training programs & foster a positive work environment, ensuring staff motivation and retention.Implement store-level promotions and marketing initiatives & analyze sales trends and customer preferences to optimize product offerings.Collaborate with the marketing team to execute local promotional campaigns.
