Responsibilities & Context:

General Manager (Production) – Core Responsibilities

1. Production Planning & Execution
   Plan, organize and control overall production operations to meet monthly & yearly targets on time.

2. Resource & Capacity Management
   Evaluate and optimize production capacity, manpower deployment, and material availability for smooth workflow.

3. Technical Production Leadership & Transition Management
   Lead the technical evaluation of new product designs, oversee sample development, pattern making, grading, and size runs, and ensure the smooth transition from design to full-scale production while resolving technical challenges during scaling and bulk manufacturing.

4. Quality Assurance & Compliance
   Ensure product quality standards and compliance with customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

5. Coordination with Cross-Functional Teams
   Work closely with Planning, R&D, HR, and other departments to align production schedules, material planning, manpower, and technical requirements.

6. Cost Control & Waste Reduction
   Control production costs, minimize material wastage, and reduce system loss while maintaining production efficiency.

7. Leadership, Training & Safety
   Provide leadership, conduct operational training, enforce safety standards, and develop team capabilities for sustainable production.
