Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Performs Maintenance, Repair, Replacement, Installation, Testing and Commissioning of Biomedical Equipment with strict adherence to safety standards.
∎ Conduct rigorous testing of biomedical equipment to ensure safety and effectiveness. Analyze data and modify designs based on test results.
∎ Oversee the installation, calibration, and maintenance of medical equipment. Troubleshoot and repair any issues to ensure optimal functionality.
∎ Provides technical assistance to hospital staff in the operation of biomedical equipment & performs troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
∎ Communicates with hospital department supervisors and workers to coordinate maintenance work so as to minimize discomfort or disruption and complete work in a timely manner.
∎ Ensure all medical devices and equipment comply with relevant health and safety regulations and standards.
∎ Maintain detailed records of design processes, test results, maintenance activities, and regulatory compliance documentation.
