Responsibilities & Context:
Khoshroz Kitab Mahal Ltd., is the sister concern of Magura Group. This is 100 years old publication company in Bangladesh. The company deals with different kinds of law books, Islamic books, different kinds register & Education materials. The company has vacancy of Backend Web Developer post. The person who has strong eligibility of following experience is encouraged to apply.
1. Server-Side Development
Build and maintain the server logic, APIs, and database interactions.
Write clean, efficient, and scalable code (often in languages like Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, Ruby, etc.).
2. Database Management
Design, integrate, and optimize databases (SQL or NoSQL).
Create queries, stored procedures, and database schemas.
Ensure data integrity, security, and high performance.
3. API Development & Integration
Develop RESTful or GraphQL APIs to connect the frontend with the backend.
Integrate third-party services and APIs (payment gateways, authentication, cloud services, etc.).
4. Security & Authentication
Implement user authentication, authorization, and access control.
Protect applications against threats like SQL injection, XSS, CSRF, etc.
Manage secure data storage and transmission (encryption, HTTPS, etc.).
5. Performance Optimization
Ensure fast server response times.
Optimize code and queries for high traffic and scalability.
Manage caching, load balancing, and background jobs.
6. Collaboration
Work closely with frontend developers to connect UI with server-side logic.
Collaborate with designers, testers, and project managers.
Document backend processes and APIs.
7. Testing & Debugging
Write unit and integration tests for backend code.
Debug server issues, database errors, and API failures.
Monitor logs and fix bugs in production.
8. Deployment & Maintenance
Deploy applications on servers or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.).
Manage CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git).
Monitor server health and maintain uptime.
