Job Context:
AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Electrical Manager .
Responsibilities :
- Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across production units (Knitting, Dyeing, Sewing, Finishing).
- Ensure uninterrupted power supply and manage load distribution efficiently.
- Ensure all electrical operations comply with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), Fire Safety, and Accord/Alliance standards.
- Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions.
- Lead and train a team of electricians and technicians.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely execution of electrical jobs.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machines, generators, compressors, and substation equipment.
- Maintain records of maintenance and breakdowns.
- Coordinate electrical aspects of factory expansion, machine installation, and infrastructure upgrades.
- Liaise with vendors and contractors for electrical projects.
- Monitor energy consumption and suggest improvements for cost and energy savings.
- Implement energy-efficient technologies and practices.
- Maintain updated documentation of electrical layouts, load calculations, and equipment manuals.
- Prepare monthly reports on electrical performance, maintenance, and energy usage.
