• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Electrical & Electronic Engineering

• B.Sc. Engineering in EEE (preferred)

• 7 to 10 years

• Age 28 to 40 years

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC, VFD, and automation.

• Familiarity with compliance audits (Accord, Alliance, RSC)

• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. 

Job Context: 

AKH Knitting & Dyeing Ltd (AKDL) is a 100% Export Oriented Knit Composite Factory located at Hemayetpur, Savar and a sister concern of AKH Group. We are looking for a skilled and experienced Assistant Electrical Manager .

Responsibilities :

• Supervise installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems across production units (Knitting, Dyeing, Sewing, Finishing).
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply and manage load distribution efficiently.
• Ensure all electrical operations comply with Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), Fire Safety, and Accord/Alliance standards.
• Conduct regular safety audits and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and train a team of electricians and technicians.
• Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely execution of electrical jobs.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for machines, generators, compressors, and substation equipment.
• Maintain records of maintenance and breakdowns.
• Coordinate electrical aspects of factory expansion, machine installation, and infrastructure upgrades.
• Liaise with vendors and contractors for electrical projects.
• Monitor energy consumption and suggest improvements for cost and energy savings.
• Implement energy-efficient technologies and practices.
• Maintain updated documentation of electrical layouts, load calculations, and equipment manuals.
• Prepare monthly reports on electrical performance, maintenance, and energy usage.
