∎ Minimum Bachelor's Degree from any reputed university.
∎ Technical qualification on Merchandising / Textile / Fashion Designing will be an added advantage.

Buying House, Garments, Garments Textile
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):

Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position is that of Asst. Merchandiser / Merchandiser / Senior Merchandiser - Ladieswear and Menswear (Denim) and the incumbent is responsible for overall activities and outcome of an assigned segment of business account with absolute integrity and honesty.
∎ Costing and confirmation of price, placement of orders etc. of all Denim products.
∎ Must have very good knowledge of Ladieswear and Menswear (Denim).
∎ Must have understanding of fabric terms (Knowledge of all types particularly Denim fabrics).
∎ Should have adequate knowledge of Denim washing techniques.
∎ Should have merchandising knowledge on Denim and various Denim washes along with costing.
∎ Assignment of jobs and monitoring the activities (team members, if any).
∎ Monitor production and ensures time schedule and quality of garments.
∎ Monitor opening of BTB- LC's (by the factory) and processing of shipping documents; follow-up with Forwarder, Shipping Agent, liaison with Bank etc.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Should be able to anticipate and provide solutions to the problems.
∎ Should be proficient in the use of computer, e.g. MS Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
∎ Knowledge in SAP will be an added advantage, very good communication skills both spoken and written in English and Bangla, ability to speak Hindi will be an added advantage.
∎ Should be able to work on own initiative under pressure.
