Job Context:
∎ Care Nutrition Ltd. is the Bangladesh subsidiary of Frontier Nutrition, Inc., a U.S. company based in New Haven, Connecticut. We are looking for Asst. Manager/ Sr. Executive, Quality Assurance who will take care of the quality assurance procedure accordingly. Keeping up to date with industry news to identify opportunities and new ideas.
∎ Job Location-Care Nutrition Limited Factory, Nanakhi, Sonargaon, Narayanganj
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues.
∎ Ensure strict adherence to production and QA process SOPs.
∎ Ensure testing of finished product according to critical parameters and batch release assessment.
∎ Responsibly handle non-conforming products. Ensure proper documentation as per SOP.
∎ Assure reliable and consistent production by checking processes and final output.
∎ Maintain excellent hygiene & sanitation of factory premises.
∎ Regularly cleaning and maintain equipment. Ensure all legal standards are met.
∎ Execute stability and safety testing of finished products.
∎ Responsible for overall development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's Food Safety Management System (FSMS) & Safety Standards.
∎ Continuously review and analyze the formulation ingredients, packaging & process required for cost effectiveness and improvement in product quality, stability and shelf life.
∎ Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems.
∎ Oversee inspection (examination) of incoming materials, ensuring that they meet requirements.
∎ Manage corrective action process on quality/food safety issue to avoid re-occurrence with continuous improvement.
∎ Modify the process where necessary to improve the product safety.
∎ Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories
∎ Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
∎ Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints.
∎ Overall monitoring the third-party pest control activity on the plant.
∎ Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
∎ Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality
∎ Prepare internal SOP's based on Quality & Safety Standards.
∎ Work on product stability and shelf life extension studies.
∎ Identify and proactive solve quality issues by collecting and analyzing quality data.
∎ Manage and monitor quality of packing & production.
∎ Ensure the compliance on ISO, BSTI, and Factory related legal license and certifications.
∎ Conduct Physical and chemical test of all RM, PM and FG in duty shift. Record result data and discuss for remedial action for discrepancies.
∎ Responsible for ETP operation, maintain, meet, regulatory requirement and record.
∎ Ensure total hygiene in factory operation / processing area during duty shift. Record inspection data and discuss for remedial action for discrepancies.
∎ Ensure product standard parameters for all products during shift and ensure on other shift. Record inspection data and discuss for remedial action for discrepancies.
∎ Ensure proper CIP/COP as per SOP on duty shift. Record inspection data and discuss for remedial action for discrepancies.
∎ Assist to develop SOP and ensure implementation for process parameters right from mix preparation till loading to vehicle.
∎ Assisting in activity of ISO and other standard system.
∎ Keep close liaison with production executive/officers for continuous improvement of GMP condition.
∎ Calibration of all application laboratory equipment and other equipment used for quality parameter checking. Monthly and when necessary basis for laboratory equipment. Quarterly and when necessary basis for other than laboratory equipment.
∎ Taking Care of Laboratory equipment and any other equipment used for quality checking.
∎ Monitoring Pest Control at Factory premises.
∎ Willing to go CM factory as Quality Representative during manufacturing of any product at 3rd Party Food manufacturing Factory as compliance issue.
∎ Any other responsibility given by the competent management time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Quality Assurance
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaging)
∎ Experience in the compliance of BSTI regulatory issue, ISO, HACCP etc.
∎ Experience in the Quality Assurance, Quality Control & Production at Manufacturing (FMCG), Food (Packaged) areas given priorities.
∎ Sound knowledge on GMP, food safety and hygiene
∎ Experience in Production, Maintenance and Projects
∎ Sound knowledge in FMCG production and process
∎ Proven experience as a quality assurance executive or relevant role.
∎ Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards.
∎ Computer knowledge for general application.
∎ Willing to Work under pressure.
∎ Good communication skills in both English and Bangla.
Salary: Tk. 20000 - 35000 (Monthly)
