Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards. Ensure timely and accurate reporting to senior management.
∎ To assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Monitor financial performance against budgets and provide insights and recommendations.
∎ Oversee and manage general ledger activities, including account reconciliation and journal entries.
∎ Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions and financial data.
∎ Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
∎ To manage accounts payable and receivable. Optimize cash management processes and ensure adequate liquidity for operational needs.
∎ Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning. Provide insights into financial trends, variances, and potential areas for improvement.
∎ Identify improvements to accounting and financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Develop and document standard operating procedures.
∎ Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support for various projects and initiatives. Mentor and support junior finance staff as needed.
