Responsibilities & Context:
Maintain day-to-day accounting records, including cash, bank, sales, purchase, expense and journal entries.
Prepare and maintain vouchers, ledgers, bills, invoices and supporting documents accurately.
Perform bank reconciliation, cash reconciliation and ledger reconciliation on a regular basis.
Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and management reports.
Assist in preparation and submission of tax returns, withholding tax statements and other regulatory filings.
Ensure all accounting transactions comply with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, VAT regulations and company policies.
Assist in year-end closing, audit preparation and external/internal audit requirements.
Support the Accounts & Finance team in budgeting, expense monitoring and financial analysis when required.
