Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management or another relevant discipline from a recognised university.
Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in finance and administration, preferably with NGO, humanitarian, development or education projects.
Sound understanding of accounting principles, financial controls and budget management.
Strong numerical, analytical and organisational skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other MS Office applications.
Familiarity with accounting/financial-management software is desirable.
Strong documentation and record-management skills.
High level of accuracy, integrity and confidentiality.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work within deadlines.
Good written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English.
Experience in the Rohingya/refugee-response context will be an advantage
Job Context
The Educate Rohingya Children Programme (ERCP) is a structured, culturally aligned humanitarian education initiative designed to address long-term education challenges affecting Rohingya communities experiencing displacement and educational deprivation. ERCP is the implementation programme through which the Rohingya Education System (RES) is intended to be delivered, strengthened and expanded. The programme promotes safe, inclusive and structured learning opportunities through literacy, numeracy, foundational learning, life skills, digital skills and clearly defined education pathways, with emphasis on equal access, community participation, teacher development, safeguarding, progression and future self-reliance.
The Finance & Admin Officer will ensure efficient, transparent and accountable financial and administrative management of ERCP. The position will support programme implementation through budgeting, expenditure monitoring, financial documentation, administration, logistics, resource management and operational support while maintaining appropriate financial controls and accountability.

Job Responsibilities
Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date project financial records and supporting documentation.
Support preparation of project budgets, activity budgets, forecasts and budget revisions.
Monitor expenditure against approved budgets, workplans and activity plans and prepare budget-versus-actual analyses.
Prepare periodic financial statements, expenditure reports and other required financial information.
Identify financial variances and potential budget issues and promptly communicate them to the Programme Director and relevant programme personnel.
Ensure expenditures are appropriately authorised, supported, recorded and allocated to relevant budget lines.
Maintain systematic financial documentation, filing and audit trails and support cash-flow planning.
Assist financial planning for learning centres, teacher development, learning resources, assessments, monitoring, safeguarding and other programme activities.
Support financial planning associated with pilot implementation and potential programme expansion.
Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support and maintain administrative records, official correspondence and personnel documentation.
Coordinate logistical and administrative arrangements for meetings, training, workshops, field activities and community-engagement events.
Support administrative arrangements related to learning centres, teachers and programme personnel.
Facilitate procurement processes and maintain appropriate procurement documentation in accordance with organisational policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate inventories and records of project assets, equipment, supplies and learning materials.
Support distribution, documentation and tracking of programme materials and resources.
Support financial verification, internal review and external/internal audit processes as required.
Provide financial information required for programme progress reports, management reviews and partner reporting.
Maintain confidentiality and appropriate protection of sensitive financial, administrative and personnel information.
Work collaboratively with the Project Manager, Monitoring Officer and other relevant programme personnel while reporting to the Programme Director.
Perform other relevant finance and administrative duties assigned by the Programme Director consistent with the scope of the position.
Salary: BDT 40,000 per month.
