Education:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a relevant discipline.
Candidates with an Honours/Master’s degree in Accounting or Business Studies will be preferred.
Graduates from reputed public or private universities will be given preference.
Must be fluent in English, both spoken and written.
Must be practicing (Namazi), honest, trustworthy, punctual, disciplined, and hardworking.
Strong sense of responsibility, integrity, and professional ethics.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Good command of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Word.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial and administrative information.
Ability to work independently as well as effectively within a team.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
Candidates willing to take responsibility for both Accounts and Administration will be highly preferred.
Experience
Relevant professional experience in Accounts, Finance, Administration, or School/Institutional Management will be preferred.
Candidates with previous experience in an English Medium School, College, University, or other educational institution will receive priority.
Experience with school management software, accounting software, ERP, or student fee management systems will be an added advantage.
Righteous International School Dhaka (RISD) is looking for competent, honest, disciplined, and highly organized professionals to join our team as Accounts & Admin Officers.
We welcome applications from candidates with a strong background in Accounts, Finance, Administration, or a combination of both. Candidates who are primarily experienced in Accounting or School Administration are encouraged to apply.
Accounts & Finance Responsibilities
Maintain daily financial transactions, cash books, ledgers, vouchers, bills, invoices, and other financial records.
Manage and monitor student tuition fees, admission fees, examination fees, and other collections.
Prepare monthly income and expenditure statements and other financial reports.
Handle cash management and banking-related activities.
Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements and maintain accurate bank records.
Process staff salaries, allowances, reimbursements, and other payments.
Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions.
Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and expenditure monitoring.
Assist management during internal and external audits.
Ensure accuracy, transparency, confidentiality, and compliance in all financial activities.
Administration Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day administrative operations of the school.
Maintain and update official records, documents, files, registers, and databases.
Coordinate with teachers, staff, students, parents, vendors, and management when required.
Assist in staff attendance, leave records, duty schedules, and administrative documentation.
Handle procurement, office supplies, inventory, and vendor coordination.
Prepare official letters, notices, reports, memos, and other administrative documents.
Support the management in organizing meetings, events, training programmes, examinations, and other school activities.
Monitor office procedures and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Assist in maintaining discipline, punctuality, and a professional working environment.
Perform other accounts and administrative duties assigned by the School Management.
