• Practical experience in dealing with banks and financial institutions.

• Strong analytical, financial planning, and problem-solving capabilities.

• Good command of MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.

• Excellent leadership, communication, coordination, and team management skills.

• Ability to manage multiple business concerns and work effectively under pressure.

• Strong integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and commitment to financial discipline.



Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context:

Giant Group is looking for a dynamic, experienced, and result-oriented AGM – Finance & Accounts to lead the Finance & Accounts function of Giant Agro Processing Ltd., Foundation, and other agro-based business concerns and projects of the Group. The incumbent will be responsible for overall financial planning, accounting, budgeting, taxation, costing, banking, financial reporting, compliance, and internal financial control of the assigned concerns. The position will also provide strategic financial support to Management for sustainable business growth and effective decision-making.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the overall Finance & Accounts functions of the assigned agro-based business concerns and projects.

• Prepare and finalize yearly Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Statement, and Cash Flow Statement.

• Develop, manage, and monitor annual and multi-year budgets, including periodic budget forecasts and variance analysis.

• Prepare and analyze monthly Profit & Loss Statements, including detailed statements of Bills Payable and Bills Receivable, and submit reports to Management.

• Prepare and analyze costing, profitability, operational expenses, and financial performance of agro-processing and related business operations.

• Generate various financial, management, and analytical reports as required by Management.

• Prepare financial projections and estimate funds required for the organization's short-term and long-term financial objectives.

• Evaluate the financial performance of different business units and provide appropriate financial analysis and recommendations to Management.

• Deal with banks and financial institutions regarding loans, credit facilities, working capital, LC facilities, and other financial arrangements.

• Ensure proper cash flow management, fund utilization, working capital management, and financial planning across the assigned concerns.

• Ensure timely preparation and submission of annual Tax Returns and Tax Audit for all relevant business units.

• Develop effective tax planning strategies, optimize tax liabilities, and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, rules, and regulations.

• Oversee product costing, production costing, process costing, purchase costing, inventory costing, and profitability analysis related to agro-processing operations.

• Monitor inventory valuation, stock reconciliation, receivables, payables, and working capital to ensure proper financial control.

• Ensure proper accounting and financial documentation for agro-based projects, investments, assets, and business operations.

• Liaise with government and non-government regulatory authorities, financial institutions, auditors, and other relevant stakeholders.

• Establish and strengthen appropriate financial controls, accounting procedures, and compliance mechanisms across the assigned concerns.

• Lead, supervise, and develop the Finance & Accounts team and ensure timely and accurate completion of departmental activities.

• Provide financial insights and recommendations to Management regarding investment, expansion, cost control, profitability, financing, and business performance.

• Perform any other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
