Educational Qualification:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, Law, or a relevant discipline.
MBA/PGD in HRM or relevant professional certification will be an added advantage.
Experience
7–8 years of professional experience in HR & Compliance.
Candidates with experience in Garments, Textile, Garments Accessories, Manufacturing, or related industries will be highly preferred.
Practical experience in social compliance, factory audits, labor law, worker management, and HR operations is required.
Required Skills & Competencies:
Strong knowledge of Bangladesh Labour Law & Labour Rules.
Good understanding of social and ethical compliance requirements.
Experience in handling customer and third-party compliance audits.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Job Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee all HR, Compliance, and Administration activities of the organization.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and company rules in accordance with applicable laws and company requirements.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding, employee records, attendance, leave, promotion, transfer, and separation.
• Ensure compliance with Bangladesh Labour Law, Labour Rules, and other applicable regulations.
• Maintain proper HR and compliance documentation, records, registers, and files.
• Coordinate and prepare the company for customer, social, ethical, labor, and compliance audits.
• Follow up on audit findings, corrective action plans (CAP), and ensure timely implementation.
• Monitor workplace health & safety, employee welfare, working conditions, and disciplinary procedures.
• Handle employee grievances, disciplinary issues, worker relations, and conflict resolution.
• Ensure proper implementation of company policies related to working hours, overtime, wages, leave, benefits, and employee welfare.
• Coordinate with management and different departments to ensure compliance requirements are properly maintained.
• Conduct regular internal compliance inspections and identify areas requiring improvement.
• Prepare HR & Compliance reports and present them to management.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure proper handling of sensitive employee information.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by management.
