Job Summary
Asia Linkage, a garments accessories company, is looking for a creative and innovative Fashion Designer to join our R&D and Product Development team. The selected candidate will be responsible for researching fashion trends, developing new garment accessories, creating innovative designs, and transforming creative concepts into marketable products.
The candidate will work on the research, design, sampling, and development of various garment accessories, including 3D fabric flowers, bows, ribbons, jacquard elastic, lace, tassels, decorative trims, and other fashion accessories.
We welcome applications from both male and female candidates with a graduate degree in Fashion Design or a related discipline.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct research on fashion trends, colors, materials, designs, and international market demands.
Develop new and innovative garment accessories through R&D.
Create fashion designs for 3D flowers, fabric bows, ribbons, jacquard elastic, lace, tassels, and decorative trims.
Research and develop new product concepts based on buyer requirements and market trends.
Prepare design sketches, technical drawings, color combinations, and product presentations.
Develop samples and coordinate with the production team to ensure design accuracy and quality.
Experiment with different fabrics, materials, textures, patterns, and embellishments.
Work on product improvement, design innovation, and cost-effective solutions.
Coordinate with merchandising, sourcing, and production teams for new product development.
Maintain design portfolios, sample collections, product catalogs, and R&D documentation.
Support the development of innovative products for local and international garment buyers.
