Experience:

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Master of Commerce (MCom) in Accounting
• Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Accounting

Professional Certification:

• CA (ICAB), ACCA, CMA (ICMAB), or equivalent professional qualification is preferred.

• Candidates with partially completed CA/ACCA/CMA may also be considered based on relevant experience.

• At least 10 years
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): University

• Age At least 40 years

• Be responsible for handling all activities of Finance & Accounts of the University independently.

• Prepare and confirm monthly and annual financial statements including significantly related party transactions and make ready in compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRSs), Bangladesh Financial Reporting Standards (BFRS)/Bangladesh Accounting Standards (BAS) and the guideline of UGC to place before the Board Audit Committee for their recommendation to the Board Meeting.

• Ensure all regulatory, financial, VAT and TAX compliance to the concerned authorities as well as monitor all open legal issues relating to financial matters, Tax, VAT etc.

• Control yearly budget and report on variances to high-ups. Analyze business trends and financial numbers for forecasting and achieving short/medium/long-term financial goals.

• Ensure that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented and maintained with proper documentation.

• Ensure cash flow, cash management, and treasury duties as required for day-to-day/monthly/quarterly/yearly business transactions

• As a key financial performer responsible for fund arrangement from Banks, Financial Institutions, and the like locally and internationally.

• Expose financial operation, accounting & reporting, crafting and developing internal control system.

• Define, design and analyze business processes and monitor cost and profitability statements. Planning for long-term and short-term capital requirements.

• Competent in computer applications and using accounting software.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the university management.
