Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Engineering (BEngg), Bachelor degree in any discipline
∎ Completed 6 months Fire Safety Manager Course/ Fire Science & Occupational Safety Course from BFSCD
∎ Skills Required: Fire Door, Fire prevention System, Fire Protection and Detection System, Fire Safety Audit, Fire safety Management
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fire and Safety, Fire Detection System Design, Fire Door, Fire prevention System
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Arrange the meetings regarding fire drill with Factory Management and floor wise fire drill.
∎ Monitor distribution of fire dress & helmet of Fire Fighters floor wise.
∎ Conducts fire drill & take photography of the same and evacuation drill at production floors, stair cases and assembly point.
∎ Arrange fire training & ensure record keeping of the same at the register with photography.
∎ Keep Record of fire drills in Fire Drill Log Book for various buyers.
∎ Fill up fire drill format and keep record for Corporate Head Office.
∎ Visit factory and write report on fire safety issues.
∎ Check CFDS, FPS, Fire Doors, Exit Lights, Aisles Marks, Fire Extinguishers and Fire Equipment for their correctness.
∎ Assist BFSCD Team in their fire training and drills.
∎ Train up the employees on perfect use of hose pipes, fire hydrant system and fire extinguishers and Checking fire round register.
∎ Check present status of fire extinguishers and their condition.
∎ Ensure monthly fire safety training of new employees.
∎ Arrange training of firefighting team and guards, first aid and evacuation teams.
∎ Check all exits of the factory are kept clear. Check all exits are unlocked and unblocked.
∎ Check emergency lights with battery backup. Check audible and visual fire alarm system with battery backup.
∎ Check evacuation plan is posted on wall. Check firefighting equipment are kept unblocked and are not damaged.
∎ Check fire pump inspection & testing reports. Check implementation of hot work policy in the factory.
∎ Check maintenance of housekeeping register & policy and their implementation. Check the fire door inspection & testing report.
∎ Check correctness of record keeping of various checklists. Check maintenance schedule is perfectly followed.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Navy background preferred
