Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Fabric development, Fabric dyeing, Fabric Manufacturing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Textile
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Must have deep knowledge in knit fabrics development, all over print & yarn dyeing.
∎ Place booking of textile & follow-up from sample to bulk stage.
∎ Check the fabric as per buyer AQL & check with buyer/sourcing team/factory head if fabric fails with over defect/CSV.
∎ Have sound knowledge on 4-point inspection system, Wash shade, CSV, Marker type.
∎ Need to have good analytical ability & decision-making ability.
∎ Need to have strong leadership ability.
∎ Need to have sense of responsibility from fabric in house to garments shipping in terms of fabric related issues.
∎ Understand the different fabric qualities / pattern making / fits / technical aspects of garment construction.
∎ To monitors product development, reviews all communication with buyers in order to get "first time right fabrics approval".
∎ Collect and maintain initial quality test report.
∎ To analyzes the production sensibilities to increase business or solving the risk of the product to avoid trouble in bulk production.
∎ To coordinates with Supply Chain department for ensure local and foreign sourcing and supply of trims and other related accessories in house at right time.
∎ To supports merchandising department for preparing product costing.
∎ To communicate with customer directly for clarifying & approving all bulk fabrics approval.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Preference will be given for those candidates having experience in fabrics specialist in Garments, Textiles & Buying House Operation.
∎ Must have good computer skill.
∎ Good command in both written and spoken English.
∎ Good interpersonal & communication skills.
Salary: Negotiable
