∎ Master of Science (MSc), Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile Technology
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering / MBA in Apparel Merchandising from any reputed University/Institutions.
∎ Masters in any discipline from reputed University.
∎ B.Sc in Textile Engineering / MBA in Apparel Merchandising from any reputed University/Institutions.
∎ Masters in any discipline from reputed University.

∎ Age 35 to 40 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Merchandising
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments
∎ Excellent communication skill in English is mandatory.
∎ Should be dynamic, well organized, self-driven and have good personality to lead a merchandising team.
∎ Should be able to work under pressure independently.
∎ At least 5 years working experience in the same position in a reputed garments factory will be given preference.
∎ Must be strategic planner and implementer.
∎ Strong analytical & problem solving skills and professional attitude towards job responsibilities.
∎ Should have excellent knowledge on computer MS office packages.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise, coordinate and lead a merchandising team independently and should have vast knowledge on Woven product.
∎ Have to manage client account from order inquiry to shipment, Inventory and Supply chain planning.
∎ Should have knowledge to work through special imported fabric.
∎ Should have knowledge to source fabrics and trims from abroad.
∎ To act as a coordinator among all concerned parties with a view to ensure timely execution and shipment of order.
∎ Responsible for proper follow up and committed with the time line given by Buyers and obviously meet the time line.
∎ Co-ordinates with production team in order to deliver on time shipment and ensure merchandisers are updating order status to buyer.
∎ Have to take care of all aspects of quality from initial to final stage of the production.
∎ Candidate must keep close liaison with buyers & Suppliers for any update of the production. Co-ordinate customers/ suppliers visits and deploys resources accordingly.
∎ Must have sound knowledge about product costing & pricing process/procedure.
∎ To deal with the Buyer independently for all the marketing & merchandising activities including price quoting, negotiation and sourcing.
∎ Responsible for making samples, pricing, costing and should liaison with next production Merchandiser.
