∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Exposure of textile production management & ready-made garment manufacturing (different segments) is must.
∎ Strong understanding of Color/Dye Testing methods and processes.
∎ Strong Knowledge about lab testing regulations as per ISO17025
∎ Knowledge of EU/North America textile industry/fashion trends is preferable.
∎ Knowledge of buyer house compliances and regulatory rules is preferable.
∎ Understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) is preferable.
∎ Exposure of textile production management & ready-made garment manufacturing (different segments) is must.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure Quality of Fabric is up to FKL Standards that complies to individual Buyer’s requirements.
∎ Inspecting incoming fabric, completing color assessments, gathering and inspecting sample book materials, preparing samples for testing, and performing various testing procedures.
∎ Ensure data collection, Color and Fabric evaluations & documentation, pre-ships; shade cards, Master standard development; regular color standard maintenance and color archive; coordinating activities within the Color Labs.
∎ Ensure direct impact on improving color consistency & quality & add value across product lines.
∎ Maintain current and relevant color standards throughout the organization.
∎ Modify and/or develop new pigments & dyes as per Buyers’ specifications and standards.
∎ Formulating accurate bulk color reproduction procedures.
∎ Ensure color fastness, accurate color reproduction, stability and durability of products.
∎ Incorporate color-measuring equipment to ensure color reliability in dyes and pigments.
∎ Install uniform standardized practices across all the units/lines in terms of materials quality and color control.
∎ Manage lab calibration program with vendors to establish self-reliability in production Unit/Line.
∎ Establish and direct the implementation of ISO
∎ Discharge the function of the Top Management under ISO
∎ Ensure Improvement in QMS score by carrying out audit and Root-Cause-Analyses and initiating development measures.
∎ Assisting technicians with checking patterns/specifications and construction, identifying and resolving production impracticalities in an appropriately timely manner, and making a final decision on quality according to company standards and requirements.
∎ Report to the operational and maintenance in chief as soon as any quality deterioration is detected to undertake necessary action. In case of serious problems, communicate with top management.
∎ Ensure cost-effective testing procedures are implemented.
∎ Received Inventory, Raw materials, Tools and LAB Capacity utilization record in the company ERP software for better management of resources.
∎ Ensure implementation and execution of the SOPs.
∎ Ensure lean management implementation through Quality Parameters and principles.
∎ Adherence to compliance for buyer followed religiously (Electrical Safety, Housekeeping, Fire safety, Free yellow lines, use of PPE, Accurate record keeping, Clean and updated First aid boxes, Chemical Management).
