Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Track daily production activities to understand production flow and ensure overall Delivery of finished products to the next production line.
∎ Implement measures to Improve Plant capacity utilization and production quality.
∎ Work with the Production team and DGM/ GM PPC to analyze CPM and Productivity ratios for all products & styles based on garment sketches or samples. Suggest measures to reduce costs & increase efficiency based on on-the-floor experience.
∎ Implement plans that help in the reduction of SMV by work process simplification without affecting the actual appearance & quality of products.
∎ Follow up on raw materials and sample approval to facilitate smooth execution of the TNA plan. Ensure maximum hit rate for the assigned unit.
∎ Assist the production department with the allocation of similar styles, capacity plans, line plans, and factory monthly plans based on the history of line and manpower productivity.
∎ Participate in pre-production activities and coordinate with the production department to improve pre-production activities.
∎ Coordination with Factory manager for cut plan and finishing plan based on delivery priority. Ensure implementation and execution of the SOPs.
∎ Ensure and monitor production and manpower efficiency as per the set parameter in QMS.
∎ Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed.
∎ Ensure lean management implementation through Quality Parameters & principles.
∎ Prepare Inventory, Raw material, Tools, and Machine Capacity utilization record with the Production team and keep it updated in the company ERP for better management of resources and machines.
∎ Work with production teams to understand Stock management and prepare other analytics based on the data.
∎ Contribute by analysing and providing inputs to seniors on controlling section-wise costs - like reducing raw material cost, yarn wastage, Fabric wastage and fabric line layout measurements with efficient planning.
∎ Assist in preparing unit-wise budget and assessing variance in planned expenses vs. actual to measure the variance and control the same.
∎ Develop an effective team by providing motivation & support to the team.
∎ Delegate appropriate, duties & responsibilities to subordinates, nurturing and developing them while ensuring standards of operation and confidentiality are maintained.
∎ Monitor employee morale and provide performance feedback for their development.
