Job Responsibilities:
∎ Plan and execute knitting R&D projects within specified timelines and budgets.
∎ Communicate and coordinate with the Merchandising team to collect fabric booking, and ensure the buyer-nominated fabric construction, quality and timeline.
∎ Conduct market research to identify trends, buyer preferences, and emerging technologies in knitting.
∎ Follow up the sample knitting program to ensure on time sample submission.
∎ Select appropriate yarns, fibres, and other materials for knitting development.
∎ Analyse fabric swatch and make necessary adjustments to improve fabric performance.
∎ Maintain detailed records of research activities, including experiments, results, and observations.
∎ Manage the budget allocated for knitting R&D and ensure maximum utilisation of resources.
