Responsibilities & Context:
- Assist in the safe and efficient startup and shutdown operations of the combined cycle power plant as per standard operating procedures.
- Monitor and handle plant systems and equipment during normal and emergency conditions.
- Ensure adherence to safe operating practices across all plant systems.
- Monitor, assess, and respond to plant safety systems, ensuring all alarms and safety interlocks are effectively addressed.
- Execute proper isolation and normalisation procedures during maintenance or emergency activities.
- Identify equipment or system abnormalities and promptly report to the Control Room Engineer (CRE) for necessary action.
- Conduct daily monitoring of critical plant equipment and maintain accurate operational logs and records.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and revision of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for plant systems and operations.
