Education:

Bachelor’s/Master’s in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Industrial Engineering, or related discipline.

Additional Requirements:

• Age 30 to 45 years

• Sound knowledge of ISO, GMP, HACCP, and QA documentation systems.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities & Context:

1. QA Operations & Compliance

• Supervise daily QA activities including raw material inspection, in-process checks, and finished goods evaluation.

• Ensure adherence to quality standards such as ISO, HACCP, GMP, and relevant food or manufacturing regulations.

• Maintain strong documentation practices and ensure all QA records are properly updated.

2. Process Control & Improvement

• Identify process deviations, analyze root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

• Work closely with production, maintenance, and R&D teams to improve quality consistency and reduce rejection rates.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices in production processes.

3. Audit & Certification

• Prepare for and coordinate internal and external audits (regulatory, customer, and certification).

• Ensure compliance with audit observations and follow up on corrective measures.

• Assist in maintaining certifications like ISO 9001, ISO 22000, HACCP, etc.

4. Team Management & Training

• Supervise QA Officers and Senior Officers, ensuring proper task allocation and performance tracking.

• Conduct training sessions on SOPs, hygiene, and quality awareness.

• Promote a culture of quality, discipline, and safety throughout the factory.

5. Reporting & Coordination

• Prepare QA reports on product quality, non-conformance, and corrective actions.

• Report key quality metrics to the QA Manager/Factory Head.

• Collaborate with procurement and suppliers for incoming raw material quality assurance.
