Educational Requirements:
∎ Master degree in Early Childhood Development/education from any reputable university

Job Context:
∎ CIPRB is seeking an experienced Assistant Training Manager (Early Childhood Development) to support Program Manager delivering of the training of this project (March 2021 to June 2022) and help to develop/ modify training content. The Manager will be responsible for managing Anchals (community crèches), as well as working closely with other team members to ensure that sufficient support is provided in areas such as training, logistics supply, monitoring, evaluation and learning, finance, communications and safeguarding. Assistant Training Manager will be reportable to the Program Manager.
∎ Job Location - Dhaka with frequent field visit in Cumilla, Chandpur, Sherpur, Narshingdi and Sirajganj District
∎ Duration: From 1 March 2021 to 30 June 2022, subject to be extended based on individual performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct training to the relevant field staff for smooth operation of the community-based day care centres
∎ Provide technical support and mentor the field team to ensure quality ECD care at the community-based daycare centers
∎ Assist incorporating ECD activities into yearly plan and project Gantt chart
∎ Visit community-based day care centres to maintain the quality and provide supportive feedback where necessary
∎ Work closely with M&E officer to identify gaps around ECD related interventions
∎ Provide technical support to Program manager for preparing quarterly and yearly project report and prepare budget for ECD activities
∎ Update standard operating procedure, training manuals and other tools for the ECD interventions
∎ Develop and select quality ECD materials (toys, books, posters, audio visuals etc.) for the targeted children
∎ Conduct ECD related research to improve the intervention for the project
∎ Maintain effective communication and representation of CIPRB with ECD Network both nationally and globally to ensure effective delivery of Anchals
∎ Ensure supply of logistics and other necessary materials timely for day-care centres (Anchal) in the intervention areas
∎ Take necessary initiative for timely execution of community-based day care centres (Anchal) in the intervention areas
∎ Identify and work with other ECD providers to integrate drowning prevention measures in other community day care interventions
∎ Other tasks as assigned by the Program Manager

Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Bangla and English
∎ Excellent organizational, problem-solving skills and willingness to learn
∎ Knowledge on safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults
∎ Experience in providing technical support to field team to maintain the quality of ECD intervention
∎ Experience in working in ECD related interventions or educational development
∎ Proficient in computer skills, including use of email, Internet, Microsoft Office programs: Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Salary:
∎ 40,000 to 44,655 BDT (Travel and communication) with festival bonus and health insurance facility, based on educational qualifications and experiences.
