Skills

● Knowledge on KOBO/ODK/SPSS/NVIVO , Capture lesson learns and Impact story, Evidence based decision making

● Computer skills with (Microsoft Office (MS Word), Excel, and PowerPoint)

● Experience in conducting baseline, mid-term and end line evaluation

● Expert in the field report, documentation in English

Project Background:

Uttaran is a national development organization working in the coastal region of Bangladesh since 1985 to uphold rights and entitlements and to improve the socio-economic condition of the poor and disadvantaged. Uttaran facilitates in getting access to and control over resources by the poor and disadvantaged to improve agricultural productivity and economic empowerment.

Uttaran with the assistance of Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation is implementing Nari Shakti Samaz Shakti (NSSS) project. The objective of the project is to establish a gender-transformative enabling environment that empowers women and marginalized groups to foster safer, inclusive, and resilient communities in the vulnerable contexts of Cox’s Bazar. The project focuses on protecting women and girls aged 10–35 in both host and refugee communities by enhancing resilience, reducing disaster vulnerabilities and creating alternative livelihood opportunities. This project has been implementing in 4 camps of Ukhyia upazila and 1 camp of Teknaf upazila.

Job responsibility:

• Collect, validate, analze and visualize quantitative and qualitative data from field activities.

• Maintain an up-to-date database of project indicators and prepare regular progress reports as per donor and organizational requirements.

• Able to design survey tools in digital platforms and manage collected data for the project.

• Lead the team with planning and execution of baseline, midline, endline, PDM survey, evaluations and impact studies and report preparation.

• Conduct regular field visits to monitor implementation progress, verify data quality and provide feedback for improvement.

• Share the monitoring findings with the program to inform program direction in line with the donor requirements.

• Facilitate participatory community monitoring and feedback mechanisms to ensure accountability and responsiveness.Ensure documentation of best practices, lessons learned, and case studies to support knowledge sharing and learning.

• Ensure that all MEAL-related information and documents are stored in secure locations (online and offline) in line with the donor requirements.

• Support capacity building of project staff and partner stakeholders in MEAL concepts, tools, and practices.

• Ensure alignment with gender equality, inclusion, and safeguarding principles in all MEAL activities.

• Collaborate closely with program, communications, and finance teams to ensure data-informed decision-making and compliance.

• Provide support at the community level for organizing events, workshop, meeting and training when required.

• Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.

• Play key role to support projectField coordinator to prepare different reports and documentation.

• As per Uttarans Policy and Project Design.
