Trinamul Unnayan Sangstha, a local NGO in Khagrachari, invites applications from permanent residents of the CHT for the following position below, under “Enhancing Marginalised People’s Opportunities With Equity, Rights, Mentorship, and Engagement for Nation-building and Transformation (EMPOWERMENT),” supported by the GFA Consulting Group/FMA and funded by the Nagorikata: Civic Engagement Fund (CEF). The key donors are Global Affairs of Canada (GAC) and the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC).
The Assistant Project Officer will be responsible for:
Support the planning, implementation, and monitoring of project activities related to gender equality, women’s empowerment, youth engagement, and inclusive governance.
Assist in organizing workshops, training sessions, and community-level advocacy events.
Participate in field visits to monitor the progress of ongoing activities and provide necessary support to field staff.
Assist in mobilizing local communities and engaging marginalized groups, particularly women and youth, in project activities.
Facilitate focus group discussions and consultations with community members to gather feedback and input for project improvements.
Assist in the preparation of project reports, presentations, and documentation.
Maintain records of project activities, outputs, and achievements.
Contribute to project narrative and financial reports as required by donors and stakeholders.
Assist in producing IEC materials and organizing campaigns.
Liaise with partner organizations, government bodies, and local CSOs to ensure smooth project execution.
Support in coordinating meetings with stakeholders, including project partners and community representatives.
