Education:
∎ Bachelor’s Degree in Textile Engineering / Industrial Engineering / Printing Technology or related field. Educational qualifications may be relaxed for experienced candidates.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ 5–7 years of experience in a similar role within a garments screen-printing/AOP environment.
∎ Hands-on experience in Auto Screen Printing Machines (e.g., ROQ) for Auto role.
∎ Strong understanding of manual table screen printing process for Manual Table role.
∎ Proven track record in leadership, team coordination, and production planning.
∎ Working knowledge of printing techniques, inks, curing, and fabric types.
∎ Strong leadership and people management skills.
∎ Attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
∎ Time management and ability to work under pressure.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Supervise and manage daily screen-printing operations (Auto or Manual).
∎ Ensure smooth workflow and production output as per daily target plans.
∎ Maintain and improve printing quality standards based on buyer requirements.
∎ Ensure proper usage and handling of screens, inks, and chemicals.
∎ Coordinate with planning, maintenance, QA, and design/artwork departments.
∎ Monitor and control ink consumption, curing quality, and print accuracy.
∎ Guide and train operators, helpers, and support staff for skill development.
∎ Lead problem-solving activities related to print defects, misprints, or equipment issues.
∎ Ensure machine and workspace cleanliness, safety, and chemical handling compliance.
∎ Maintain production reports, downtime logs, and performance data.
∎ Operate and monitor high-speed Auto Screen Printing Machines (e.g. ROQ).
∎ Set up automatic machines, including screen registration, squeegee pressure, and curing time.
∎ Troubleshoot auto machine errors, sensor issues, and automation functions.
∎ Optimize machine run time, reduce idle time, and minimize changeover duration.
∎ Maintain and calibrate printing heads, flash cure units, and dryers.
∎ Supervise manual table screen printing lines, especially for detailed or specialty artwork.
∎ Ensure perfect alignment, consistent pressure, and accurate color mixing for hand printing.
∎ Manage manpower deployment efficiently across tables and shifts.
∎ Troubleshoot human-related errors and manual process variability.
∎ Ensure accurate placement of artwork and repeat patterns on garments.
