Additional Requirements:
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as Assistant Merchandiser, preferably for Woven products with European buyers.
- Candidates with experience in handling Betty Barclay or similar European fashion brands will get preference.
- Good knowledge of woven fabrics, garment construction, and production process.
- Strong communication skills in English (written & verbal).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).✔ Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive.
- Knowledge of buyer requirements, especially European markets, preferred.
Responsibilities & Context:
A reputed RMG is looking for an Assist the Merchandising for Woven product orders for Betty Barclay, ensuring smooth execution from development to shipment.
Communicate daily with the Betty Barclay team regarding sample development, approvals, order status, and shipment updates.
Coordinate with factories, suppliers, and internal departments to ensure product quality, production timelines, and buyer requirements are consistently met.
Follow up on product development, sampling, lab dips, approvals, and overall production tracking.
Maintain accurate and updated records of order details, samples, approvals, fabric & trims, and delivery schedules.
Ensure all product specifications, quality standards, and buyer requirements are strictly followed.
Assist in costing preparation, order booking, and generating production status reports.
Monitor shipment plans to meet buyer delivery requirements and timelines.
Support the team in problem-solving during production to ensure on-time delivery and smooth operations.
