Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Processing Bancassurance requests from various branches involves reviewing applications, verifying documentation, and assessing customer eligibility to ensure timely policy issuance.
∎ Makes sure commission payments from the partner insurance company are processed on time.
∎ Ensure comprehensive, controlled, and compliant insurance coverage for cash, fixed assets, and lockers.
∎ SME accounts data collection & sending the same to Insurance Company for coverage.
∎ Personal Loan accounts data collection & sending the same to Insurance Company for coverage.
∎ Claim related correspondence with concerned division & Insurance Company.
∎ Duplicate issuance approval/encashment approval of Lost Instruments in time.
∎ Support the Audit Team at the time of audit and on receipt of audit/inspection reports, follow‐up with the respective branches/divisions and ensure that corrective measures are taken and appropriate response is made on timely fashion.
∎ Internal controls are maintained according to bank policy and Guidelines (DCFCL etc) and other local statutory guidelines (Bangladesh Bank etc.)
∎ The primary responsibilities of this role include processing Bancassurance requests from various branches. Additionally, this role ensures that commission collection from the partner insurance company is processed on time. Additionally, the position entails processing insurance coverage for bank assets and managing insurance for liability, SME products, and personal loan accounts. Furthermore, it involves handling preliminary tasks for approving duplicate pay orders, fixed deposit receipts, and encashment of lost instruments while maintaining compliance with Bangladesh Bank regulations and internal policies.
