∎ Hands-on experience in ISP, IIG, or IX operations.
∎ Must have experience with fiber optic deployments, GPON, EPON, P2P systems and Radio network.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Design and implement transmission networks, including FTTx and PoP planning.
∎ Conduct field surveys, route mapping, planning, and prepare required documentation.
∎ Continuously monitor transmission links and perform link budget calculations.
∎ Identify performance issues and initiate rectification processes.
∎ Lead field teams during link implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
∎ Ensure compliance with operational standards and timely delivery of projects.
∎ Ensure minimum network downtime and maintain SLA commitments.
∎ Conduct routine audits and preventive maintenance across the transmission network.
∎ Engage with service providers to manage capacity, resolve faults, and maintain network integrity.
∎ Liaise with relevant authorities for permits and connectivity approvals.
∎ Create and maintain up-to-date documentation for network topology, configurations, and link budgets using AutoCAD and Google Earth and GIS.
∎ Strong understanding of transmission networks (GPON, EPON, P2P) and FTTx.
∎ Proficient in optical fiber testing, fault analysis, and link budgeting.
∎ Familiarity with IP networking fundamentals and NMS tools.S

∎ Position Overview
∎ The Assistant Manager – Transmission will lead transmission network planning, execution, and optimization to ensure seamless ISP service delivery. This role will supervise field operations, maintain transmission uptime, coordinate with vendors, and plan scalable infrastructure across the ISP network. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proactive attitude, and leadership capabilities to align network activities with business goals.
