Experience:

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sewing quality control, preferably in woven bottom garments.
Strong knowledge of sewing operations, defects, AQL standards, and buyer-specific quality requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight production deadlines.
The Assistant Manager – Sewing Quality (Woven Bottom) will oversee and lead the sewing quality control team throughout the production process to ensure compliance with buyer standards and internal quality policies. This role requires a proactive approach in identifying defects, implementing corrective actions, and ensuring overall product quality from cutting to finishing stages.
Team Supervision & Leadership:
Lead and supervise the sewing quality control team across all production lines.
Provide guidance, training, and support to ensure adherence to quality standards.
Production Monitoring:
Monitor daily sewing operations to ensure compliance with buyer specifications and internal quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections in-line, end-line, and pre-final stages to detect defects or deviations.
Problem Solving & Corrective Action:
Identify root causes of sewing defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Collaborate with production, technical, and merchandising teams to resolve quality-related issues.
Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Review and understand buyer technical files, specifications, and quality requirements before production starts.
Ensure that all products meet AQL standards and buyer-specific quality expectations.
Meetings & Coordination:
Attend pre-production (PP) meetings to ensure quality requirements are clearly communicated and understood.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth execution of quality processes.
Documentation & Audits:
Prepare, maintain, and update quality documentation, reports, and records.
Assist during buyer inspections, third-party audits, and internal audits as required.
