Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Engineering, or related field.

  • 3 – 6 years of experience in product management, pricing, or market analysis—preferably in the mobile phone or consumer electronics industry.

  • Strong analytical and Excel skills; familiarity with pricing models and margin calculations.

  • Understanding of mobile phone product specs, pricing dynamics, and retail/wholesale sales channels.

  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.

    Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in pricing software or ERP systems.

  • Basic knowledge of supply chain or cost accounting is a plus.

  • Knowledge of local market dynamics and consumer behavior

  • Good presentation skills and the ability to communicate findings clearly to management.



Responsibilities & Context:

Product Management Support:

  • Drive the product roadmap for mobile devices based on market needs, technology trends, and business goals.

  • Assist in product design, R&D and subsequent manufacturing.

  • Define product specifications and plan product roadmaps.

  • Monitor product performance post-launch and lead improvement initiatives.

  • Conduct competitive analysis and maintain a deep understanding of market trends and customer expectations.

  •  Prepare product specification sheets, pricing proposals, and launch documents.

Pricing Strategy & Analysis:

  • Support development of pricing strategies for new and existing products based on cost analysis, competitor benchmarking, and market conditions.

  • Monitor and analyze product pricing performance and profitability.

  • Work with finance and sales to implement and evaluate promotional pricing campaigns and schemes.

Market Research & Insights:

  • Conduct regular market scans to benchmark product features, specs, and pricing against competitors.

  • Collect and analyze customer and market data to support product positioning and pricing decisions.

Cross-functional Coordination:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to assess pricing feedback and customer behavior.

  • Coordinate with marketing to ensure that product messaging aligns with pricing and positioning strategies.

Reporting & Documentation:

  • Prepare regular product and pricing reports for internal stakeholders.

  • Maintain databases of pricing history, competitor comparisons, and cost structures.
