Experience:

• 8 to 10 years

• Diploma/B.Sc. in Textile Engineering from any reputed institution

• Experienced candidates having Chemistry background are also encouraged to apply

• Experience with working or getting certification from reputable organizations is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of fabric and garment testing techniques (e.g., tensile strength, shrinkage, color fastness).

• Familiarity with industry standards like JIS,ISO, AATCC, etc.

• Attention to detail with an analytical mindset.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Leadership and team management abilities.

• Responsible for overall supervision of physical laboratory.
• Supervise and manage day-to-day physical lab operations and testing activities.
• Monitoring all kind of Color Fastness, Physical and Safety Test as per buyer’s method (JIS/ISO/AATCC)
• Ensure that the lab is equipped with the necessary tools, instruments, and materials for accurate testing.
• Check the accuracy label of authorized machines and notice to the concern in-charge in case of any results dribbling.
• Keep liaison with the Production Team for their in time testing result for the Sample or Bulk Production.
• Keep Update all the Lab Testing machine by conducting regular calibration .
• Knowledge of fabric and garment testing techniques (e.g., tensile strength, shrinkage, color fastness).
• Tests raw stock for moisture content with meter-equipped probe.            
• Ensure the stock of consumable items maintained properly.             
• Take initiative when any equipment needs calibration.
• Receiving & recording all complaints, identify causes and take corrective action.             
• Review/check the internal worksheet with samples according to methods.             
• Measures tear strength and wet and dry tensile strength, using tensile-testing equipment.
• Ensure the required environmental conditions are maintained properly.
